Certified Public Accountants The partners of Sotomayor Elías S.C. have obtained the Certification as Public Accountants from the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants, A.C., as well as the certification in the Discipline of Accounting and Government Auditing. These certifications give rise to stricter quality control procedures in terms of training, independence and development of our staff and partners.

Compliance with the Quality Control Review Standard before the IMCP Since the 2010 fiscal year, Sotomayor Elías, S.C. and its partners have been submitting the Statement on compliance with the Quality Control Standard, called Quality Control applicable to Public Accounting firms that perform audits and reviews of financial information, attestation work and other related services.

Registry of Public Accountants authorized to issue opinions before the Mexican Social Security Institute The partners of Sotomayor Elías, S.C., are registered to issue opinions before the Mexican Social Security Institute since they are part of the Registry of Public Accountants authorized to issue opinions.

Registry of Public Accountants authorized to issue opinions before the National Workers’ Housing Fund Institute The partners are registered with the National Workers’ Housing Fund Institute and are authorized to issue opinions on the fulfillment of obligations before this Institute.

Since 1999, Sotomayor Elías, S.C., has been part of the registry of External Offices of the Office of the Comptroller General of the State of Sonora – General Directorate of Government Auditing, providing services as auditor in the entities of the Parastatal Public Administration.

Sotomayor Elías, S.C. is part of the register of firms that carry out the services of the external auditors of the Government Control and Evaluation Body of the H. City Council of Hermosillo.

As of the fiscal year of 2012, Sotomayor Elías S.C., obtained eligibility from the Secretary of the Federal Public Service to carry out external audits in the public entities of the Federal Public Administration, forming part of the registry of auditors of this secretariat of the Federal Government.
